When the wedding bells ring.

Weddings - One of the most happiest occasions..and I super love weddings! It's probably the sense of blissfulness and love-is-in-the-air feeling that makes me all excited to help out with one, prepare one (as we are in the midst of getting ready for our own big day), or even simply attend one. My love for weddings' pretty much the main reasons why I started MyKindOfWedding, using pictures to depict a story of the couple's entire journey right up to their wedding day. It's kind of nice to listen to all your client's love story and see how we can cater to their ideal montage for their big day!

Tonight, we at mykindofwedding will be attending our very own friends' wedding (Wee Kiat & Yuling). It's gonna be jam-packed fun as we get to see a majority of the old schoolmates. Plus, I personally feel it's quite touching to finally see them get married to each other.. They were like the cutest couple back in school and have been dating for many years together.. probably longer than my fiance and I if I didn't remember wrongly. Looking forward to a wonderful evening tonight and here's wishing them all the best as they step on a new journey together! Love really does make the world go round!

Preparation Begins

The countdown begins.. with still roughly about 1yr 6mths plus more to our big day..I can't help but get excited at all the little things we're planning for.Now that we have got an official date fixed, it's so much more easier to get things planned.. It's not easy planning for your very own wedding but I know we can do it together and I absolutely love the way things are going right now. And as some of you may know, my fiance and I are into wedding montage business..and I can't wait to create our very own childhood-dating photo montage.Hectic as it can be..but I'm sure we can do it! 

It's time

Finally. We've set a date for our big day and it's time we got down to preparing all the stuff - booking of venues and making sure that everything happens smoothly on the Actual Day. So first thing on the list - hotel for dinner banquet!  I'm soooo excited.

Till then, watch out for updates. Will probably post more drawings to depict the details of our dream wedding ..

Spending time together

Our very first Valentine's Day Celebration (techincally it's our 7th year celebrating it) ever since we were engaged last Aug. It was fun to just have a simple eat-out-dinner together...I was never really a food person...But somehow I really enjoy eating meals with my loved ones. Chatting over the silliest moments (like how we coincidentally got the lucky number 2 table) and just being able to spend time together is a great get-away from all the other stressful things in life.

2012 has not been a very nice start..but I sure hope it will get better. Well at least I know, things will be great with my fiancé around. Just because he has always been the awesome one who stands by me all the time.

Things left unappreciated.

A note to oneself for the year of 2012: not all things are appreciated.

A lot of times, you do things for a good cause. For people you care about, be it friends, relatives, or even a stranger you'd see in the train..etc.

So it happened twice today... two incidents that were done and not appreciated at all. Yes I was a little  sad and bothered by it initially. But after a long day, I've kinda learnt something from it.

I'd still be doing these things even if  the people involved ain't gonna appreciate it a single bit. Reason?  Just because I still care.

Visuals of an artist.

Imagine..one standing out in an open space..preferably somewhere out in the greenaries..with a clear blue sky and the God rays of sparkling sunshine beaming through the leaves of the huge trees...swirling in circles like how a ballerina would perform and dance on the stage..and there you have..the man of your dream, the love of your life...all dressed up in the smartest black suit standing right there with a smile..the smile that melts your heart..

I bet the frames will be very well captured if you've chosen the right photographer..

Yeah. That's the visual I have in mind. Would be pretty cool for a pre wedding shot. Elegance, romantic..sparkling with a tinge of sweetness.
